Here are a couple of examples of how we walk the walk at Luxottica:
Eyebiz has implemented two water recycling systems and a waste collection system. The water recycling systems provide 99.9% efficiency of recycled water used for the Grind generators and the edging and fining facilities.
The implementation of a waste collection system has meant that polycarbonate and CR39 waste, as well as general paper and cardboard are all recycled.
Our global community initiative, OneSight, collects and recycles old glasses for distribution and use in developing countries. You can help by collecting pre-loved prescription eyewear from family and friends and your local community. Glasses can be dropped off at any of our Luxottica stores for recycling.
