Luxottica Australia – Warranty Policy

All products manufactured by Luxottica carry an express warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase for the warranty period set out below.

To make a warranty claim, return your product to the store that you purchased it from within the applicable brand’s warranty period specified above, together with your proof of purchase.  If a manufacturing defect is verified by our technical service department, the frame, or part of the frame which is defective, will be replaced free of charge.

This warranty does not cover defects caused by accidents (impact, crushing, scratch lenses etc).  You will be responsible for any expenses in returning your product to us and collecting it. We will be responsible for any other expenses.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.  You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits given to you under our express warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law and other laws.
